Howdy Monday Peeps!
So Monday is weighing/measuring day. If you’ve been following my progress you’ll know I’ve been following Lucy Wyndham-Read’s workouts on YouTube; in the first 3 weeks, I lost 4 inches from my waist and hips, sometimes not exercising every day (because life happens). I was eating normally, fairly healthy but the odd treat, and only lost 1lb in 3 weeks.
This last week I’ve been using the mobile app My Fitness Pal to track calories and exercise. I’ve used the app before and liked it, so seemed right to get it back. You can also check the nutrient content, % per meal and other useful stuff on it.
From calorie-counting and exercise, I’ve lost 5lb this week…Yay! 🙂 But the weird part is that (despite losing weight and exercising) the inches have barely moved. My waist has stayed the same and my hips are just about an inch down.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m pleased and know this is a marathon journey with a bigger picture and all that, but it surprised me.
I did wonder if it was bloating, so am gonna try and have 1 or 2 lower carb days this week to see if that helps.
