As the title suggests, Autumn brings lots of TV and such to enjoy, so I thought I’d share.
Firstly, there are a whole host of films now on Sky Cinema (and plenty more to come). At the weekend we watched Black Panther- R.I.P. Stan Lee- we really enjoyed the film and highly recommend it, very cool graphics and a nice ‘nerdy guy saves the day’ bit….also the women in it are awesome!
As if that wasn’t enough, you can now get Netflix through the Sky Q box! Aaaand it’s cheaper than the separate Netflix subscription!! My daughter has spent a lot more time in the living room since this development! 😉
Secondly, Strictly is a seriously close call this year; top of the leader board is always changing and it’s getting too hard to vote! Also it’s about to get harder to watch as it’s gonna clash with I’m a celeb for the next couple of weeks.
Thirdly, there are like 5 Christmas channels and Christmas stuff showing on Premiere and the music channels….finally they’re catching me up! 😉
Moving on from TV, I’ve been reading the complete works of Lewis Carroll on my kindle…I may be some time. I may have to put it down to read A Christmas Carol (again) before Christmas. 🙂 🙂
The teenager is buried in books at the moment too. This is usually her natural state, but more so since being in the midst of GCSE English. She is reading Kingdom of Ash (the last in the Throne of Glass series) but is also studying An Inspector Calls for her exams…so we spend a lot of time discussing these plots and characters and authors; I LOVE IT!
I’ve had a couple of really beautiful dog walks this week where it’s been fresh and clear but not too cold. I love living here and having so many different routes to walk (or sniff along in Bailey’s case).
Next weekend (LIKE 10 DAYS!! EXCITED!!) is the massive Christmas market in Westpoint Arena…which means a festive road trip for us girls! Singing, shopping, chatting and precious time with my bubba….best ‘entertainment’ option ever!!
What are you looking forward to?
